DuraSlic® SpeedCoat Spray-On Water-Based Ceramic Coating
DuraSlic SpeedCoat is a water-based, ceramic coating for use on automobiles, trucks, and other transportation assets to impart gloss, hydrophobicity and protection from the elements.
SpeedCoat has been formulated with the latest water-based ceramic technology to provide a water contact angle of 105°, insuring a high level of repellency. UV protection is also imparted for the life of the coating. The coating chemically bonds to the surface while forming a hydrophobic nanolayer to protect paint and enhance gloss. SpeedCoat has a robust, abrasion resistant surface that stands up to repeated cleaning. PRE-CLEAN The paint or metal surface should be completely clean of foreign materials. Painted surfaces should be cleaned to the level required for a superior paint application. If new, and not exposed to exterior conditions, clean with a no-residue detergent, rinse, dry and then wipe with DuraSlic Panel Prep and Glass Wipe. If the paint has been exposed to exterior conditions, further treatment may be necessary before these same steps. Metal surfaces will require the same cleaning steps. APPLICATION SpeedCoat is water-based spray that can be quickly applied by your DuraSlic detailer or by the DIY enthusiast. Surface should be clean and free of contaminants and dry. From about 12 Inches away, spray an approximately 2 ft area. Wipe with a clean microfiber cloth to remove most of the liquid. Then polish with another clean microfiber until a clear gloss is achieved.
